About Us

Delve Photography is… well, us – Ray and Melissa VanDerLinden.

We are just two artsy-types who spend our days designing/editing/surfing blogs and other such nonsense on our computers like ridiculous nerds – that is, when we’re not chasing our little one around the house… or the playground or church (we do a lot of chasing).

Ray began Delve in 2008 designing logos, print material for various churches and businesses, late model and modified race cars, and a website here and there. Today, you can find a variety of Delve websites ranging from eCommerce to blogs, and everything in between. Ray is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his passion for great, fresh-looking design. Ray offers a range of design services. Melissa picked up digital photography with simple point and shoots and began experimenting with post-processing years ago, but she didn’t begin using her true photographer’s eye until the purchase of her “first child,” a Canon 5D Mark II. Seeking willing subjects among her friends and coworkers, she soon fell in love with portrait photography. Her favorite part of photography is taking a raw image and bringing it to life in Photoshop. Melissa offers portrait sessions for children, families, couples, and weddings (really anything involving breathing subjects).
